This study examined how the current customer service model for the City of Coquitlam (the City) could be enhanced to more effectively deliver local government services. The significance of the opportunity for this growing municipality is that it could result in more satisfied customers and staff members. The research explored the current perceptions of the public and staff of the provision of this service, how the current customer service delivery model could be enhanced, and possible improvements to the current customer service processes. Finally, the research study received input and feedback from a variety of stakeholders on the current perceptions of the City's delivery of customer service and suggestions for improvement to enhance the efficiency of customer service.This study examined how the current customer service model for the City of Coquitlam (the City) could be enhanced to more effectively deliver local government services.
